Monograms and Ciphers
Over the years, Thornwillow Press has collected an enormous archive of monogram and cipher designs. We have literally thousands of examples of historic patterns that our designers and engravers turn to for inspiration to develop a custom design especially for you. Give us some aesthetic direction, send an example of a monogram you like, or ask us to propose some suggestions. Our engravers will hand cut a steel die or etch a copper plate with your interlocking initials to be stamped on correspondence papers, calling cards, invitations, menus, place cards, and bookplates (ex libris). We can also provide a digital file of the design that can be used to create monogrammed linens, to personalize silver, etch glass, or stamp on a custom bookbinding, album or guest book.
Once the design is complete, you can choose from our extensive paper, ink and lining options and we will create your finest and most personal monogrammed papers.
