A historian remembers the last
days of World War II and the end of the world
that was. The book was set in Baskerville Monotype,
and was hand-printed on a Vandercook press on
Arches paper at the Penmaen Press in Great Barrington,
Massachusetts. The cover illustration was by
Irena Martens. The coverstock is handmade
bark paper
from Japan, and the marbled endpages in the
hardcover copies were handmade by Iris
Nevins.
The edition consists of 50 hardcover
copies and 250 soft cover copies.
The hardcover copies
are signed by the author.
