Both compiled and written by Harvard University minister the
Reverend Professor Peter J. Gomes, this collection includes graces
and blessings from the Bible, literature, history, diverse faiths,
and Prof. Gomes’s famously
eloquent imagination. They are intended to provide the reader
with inspiring and helpful thoughts to mark holidays and turning
points in our lives.
Gomes’s Book of Good Graces is set in Jenson and printed
letterpress. The edition is limited to 950 copies. Numbers 1-200
are numbered, signed by the author, bound in brown moroccan leather
with handmade paste and marble papers, and presented in a black,
velvet-lined linen traycase. The balance of the edition is individually
numbered, and bound in letterpress-printed
paper wrappers.
